Current Project: MAJI KWA AMANI

Maji kwa Amani Project

The Anglican Church of Tanzania (ACT) announces that it has been able to enter partnership agreement with the United Thank Offering (UTO) to implement the MAJI KWA AMANI (Water for Peace) project, in initiative designed to promote peace, sustainable water access, and community resilience in Dodoma, Morogoro, and Manyara regions of Tanzania

The project is aimed to specifically reduce Farmer–Pastoralist Conflict in Kiteto, Mvomero, and Kongwa Districts. Through this initiative the ACT will work with communities to strengthen shared water infrastructure, promote inclusive participation in water governance, engage youth as peacebuilders, and support women-led mixed agriculture initiatives that contribute to improved livelihoods and peaceful coexistence.
